so many challenges lately.
i constantly have to remind myself that i am exactly where i need to be, doing exactly what i need to be doing. i am in charge of creating the life i want.
it is hard to accept change. it is easier to dwell on how things once were.
but it is important to recognize what i have now, and know that even though some things will inevitably get left behind, moving forward is the biggest favor i can do for myself.
just as i am exactly where i need to be, others are where they need to be. sometimes those places match up, sometimes they do not. wherever we are, we must realize that we are doing the best we can.
in the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

can we please acknowledge this ignorance
Yeah I don’t agree with some of Dawson’s characters but he was literally portraying a living, breathing black person. I don’t think his intent was to be racially offensive.
"he was literally portraying a living, breathing black person." thAT SENTENCE RIGHT THERE IS LITERALLY WHY THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS SUCH A SERIOUS ISSUE

My female villains are all so different!! But they all wear black clothes, dark lipstick and up-dos. Why waste time in characterization when their looks can tell all you need to know? I mean you don’t want them being more than stereotypes, that would be so confusing to the audience!
At first I thought those were all the same person
